Shepard Fairey flatlay

This double-page spread showcases prints by Shepard Fairey, renowned for his street art and graphic design that often addresses activism and social justice. The left page captures an overhead shot of his prints, which I arranged in a layered composition highlighting their textures and vibrant colours. I photographed the image with a Canon EOS R7. Additionally, I did all the photo editing to bringing out the depth of the artwork by correcting & enhancing the prints' colours and textures that Fairey is so well known for.

On the right side, I handled the design and layout work to create a visual balance that complements the photo. I layered textures and grungy typefaces as a nod to Fairey’s roots in the graffiti and street art movement of the 90’s. This spread presents Fairey’s work in a dynamic and cohesive way, celebrating his unique style and its impact on modern art and activism.
